There is no place quite
like William Watson Hotel. Built over 170 years ago, it is one of the
oldest buildings on the square and was frequented by Lincoln when he
visited Pittsfield to practice law in the Pike County Courthouse. Our
comfortable blend of understated elegance, personalized services,
exceptional accommodations and modern amenities are more commonly found
at high-priced hotels.
Today, William Watson
Hotel continues a tradition by offering 14 comforatable rooms and
suites, along with the adventure of a small town.
Nestled in the heart of
Pike County, this historical hotel is just minutes from prime deer
hunting land, an hour from Springfield, Illinois and Quincy, Illinois,
and just two hours from St. Louis, Missouri and Lambert International
Airport.
William Watson Hotel was originally built in 1838 and was called Mansion House Hotel. Owners Jonas and Jane Ann Petty renovated for over two years and the hotel reopened in December 2008.
